Yeah, missing out on a top-tier free agent or two doesn't kill a team, but missing out on all of them isn't helping.
I'd really appreciate it if the team doesn't leave the fifth starter role open to competition during spring training. It didn't work out so well last year. I don't care if it's Braden Looper or Jeff Suppan. I want someone consistent, who can stay healthy, and most importantly keep Charlie Haeger in the minors.
