The last time I advocated an off-the-beaten-path DC Comics movie, The Losers, it tanked at the box office. But I'm coming back again to pull for Red, based on an obscure Warren Ellis three-issue series, which premieres today. Cully Hammer's single-line-width artwork added to the noir-like feel of this well-written story. Let's hope Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, and Helen Mirren can fare better than the last DC Comics go-round.

Love the cast! In the review I read the critics only gave it two stars. I generally never agree with what they have to say.
Reviews seem solid.
I liked The Losers.

Ernest Borgnine is still alive!
