I just wanted to also say that I've come to my senses a bit regarding this series. I still would rather not have the Phils in the World Series again, and I still can't bring myself to actively cheer for them, but my proper HATEHATEHATE for the Giants was reignited last night. I want them done and gone from my TV, even if it means a team I fucking loathe just as much gets to go to the World Series. I think all it took was seeing the crushed Phone Booth crowd to snap me out of what I was thinking.
Now, the Rangers really need to finish off the Yanks, so I can have a clear-cut team to root for in the WS. If it's Yanks/Phils or Yanks/Giants, we really are going to need that meteor.
