Caption Contest

Rejoice, O SoSG readers, for the caption gods have blessed us. Yesterday at Dodger Stadium, Sesame Street's Elmo threw out a ceremonial pitch. (Sources say it was a nasty slider that tickled the outside corner of the plate.) Elmo also scored this photo op with Clayton Kershaw, who is doing nothing to diminish his Boy Scout reputation. Caption what you think Elmo is saying to Clayton. Here's one to get you started:

"Kershaw, dude, one more inside fastball and I charge the mound, ya hear?"

Check out the blonde in the 3rd row. She's winking at you.

Hey Clayton, I'm not saying you are young, but did you know that I am nearly 4 years older than you?

"If I'm gonna wear this ridiculous furry suit when it's this hot outside, I might as well be back at that Sandals resort. This sucks."

I can't think of anything funny/witty/enlightening so I vote for Dr. Geek as the winner.

(Kershaw to Elmo): Andre, get out of the damn suit. I get your concerns, but this is just ridiculous.

Ok, I guess that one sort of ripped off Nic J.

Elmo, (at left) poses for a picture with dodger phenom Clayton Kershaw, after being told that he could not take a picture with his first choice, Mr. Noodle, who was actually getting a rare start in Left Field on Sunday.

Even Elmo knows how to throw a changeup once and a while.
