Post-Game 51 Thread: One for the Birds

CUBS 7, DODGERS 0

The Dodgers are shut out for the first time this season as the bats and arms both have a rare off-day. The Dodgers are now in a position to lose three straight, also for the the first time this season. Not all firsts are good things. Let's hope somebody wakes up for tomorrow's game and we can salvage a split.

Good hockey game going on, and I don't really like hockey all that much.

The Dodgers' bats were so sleepy, birds decided to nest in the Wrigley outfield.

Was this game the equivalent of Lakers- Nuggets Game 4?

Yes. It was if Torre rested all the regulars. They were bound to have one of these games. Better to have it in May than August or September.
