First Bob Melvin, now the axe has finally fallen on Clint Hurdle:
The Rockies dismissed manager Clint Hurdle and replaced him with bench coach Jim Tracy on Friday. An official announcement will be made later Friday. The last straw for the Rockies was being swept at home in a three-game series by the Dodgers, with the Rockies being outscored by a combined 31-13. At 18-28, the club is a season-worst 10 games below .500, last in the NL West, and trailing the first-place Dodgers by 14 games.
How soon until we start seeing T-shirts that read DODGERS: THE LAST STRAW?
And a welcome back to the managerial ranks to Jim Tracy. Did he persevere after being fired by the Dodgers? He did.

Two NL West managers down, two more to go!
I love "The last Straw" t-shirt idea.
Hilarious!
I'm no photoshop magician or anything, but here's a first draft for the tshirts.
I thought the same thing when Steiner announced the "breaking news." I, too, would like to see the Dodgers end the reigns of Black and Bochy, but I doubt it will happen.
If Black goes, Scioscia would take him back as pitching coach in a minute. I wish Jim Tracy all the luck I can when the Dodgers aren't playing the Rockies. He always seemed like a class act (think 2005 NLDS).
Orel, no one else picked up the Tracy rhetorical question answered immediately thereafter (which made all press conferences twice as long). Was that well done? I'd say, yes. Should we do it all year when referencing Tracy? I'd say, sure.
Tracy just likes talking about Kazuhisa Ishii's fastball.
