That's right, the top two entries on the list came against manager Tony LaRussa.

I was gonna say they both lead to world series titles. (knock on wood)

Dodgers.com has Vin's call set to video. Everything from Loney to Loretta.

Thx for that heads up, Josh. I always download Vinny audio and file it for posterity.

Somewhat related media note, (hat tip to Dodger Thoughts). WaPost got ahead of themselves:

Happy Loretta came through.

I'm probably the only Dodgers fan (outside of kensai) who would, if given the chance, replace Mark Loretta on the roster with DeWitt.

Right now if that was a possibility.

This was before my time but still.....

This was payback for Ozzie Smith. Hopefully Saturday we'll get payback for Jack Clark.

Take a look at the pic on Kemp's blog. Juan STILL manages to look vaguely worried while everyone else is going apeshit, or maybe it's just a zenlike trance.

I was there today BTW. Second most exciting baseball I've seen at Dodger Stadium since the 4-homer night against the Pads. Tears, I tell ya.

"I don't want to get too excited, but at that moment that was the most exciting moment of my life in baseball right there. It feels good, man. Really, you can't describe it. That was the loudest I've ever heard a crowd at Dodger Stadium."
