That orange county team doesn't look likely to secure a SoCal sweep today.
5-2. Anaheim rallying.
FUCK THE ANGELS!! GO RED SOX
^ What he said.
A big old ditto on Dodger Heaven there, especially now that the bastards have taken the lead in the ninth. Unreal. I might have to root for the Yankees in the ALCS. I hate the Angels so much.
While I would have liked to have seen a BoTox/Stankees ALCS, it brings me great joy to see the West Coast represent and stick it to ESPN's favorite.
Well, they're also my favorite, so I'm not really enjoying it so much.
I forgot, Erin. You too are a part of the Red Sox faithful.

That is truly Sophie's Choice.
Dodgers: 3-0
Angels: 3-0
Rockies: 1-1
Cardinals: 0-3
Red Sox: 0-3
ESPN: 0-2

"I might have to root for the Yankees in the ALCS"
*speechless*
If we can make it through the NLCS, I'd rather face the Yanks than the Angels, though.
The bragging rights would be fantastic if we won a freeway series, but if we lost...
My God, can you imagine the obscene about of Yankee coverage and bias we'll see if the LCS include the Yanks and THREE western teams? (Dodgers, Angels, Rockies)
I don't really see the Dodgers beating the Yankees. I could see us beating the Angels, but the Yankees are so tough.
And, really, it was the emotions of the moment getting to me when I said I would root for the Angels. For now, I'm rooting for the Twins. When the League Championship Series start, I'll be rooting for the Dodgers and staring at my screen in confusion during the Angels/Yankees series (should it come to that).
I just really, really hate the Angels. And as blasphemous as it is to say this as a Dodger fan (though I wasn't one when he played), Mike Scioscia is the worst of them all.
The Yankee bullpen is tough, there's no doubt about it. The Angels are more like us: not really dominating in any one facet, but just overall are very good. The Yankees have a very hittable rotation past CC. It's a Catch-22 for me, and I'll only worry when it becomes an issue.
Not being cocky, but I can see us beating anyone at this point. Are we the best team in baseball? I don't know, but I think we can beat anyone.
Yanks would be great, because of the Torre-storylines and being able to take down the evil empire.
The Angels would be awesome because the entire staff at ESPN would be on suicide watch.
Or course we have to first win the NLCS.
But we can't be afraid of who we're playing anymore. We can play with them all.
As FDR would say "We have nothing to fear but fear itself."
Confidence, baby.
@erin,
Yeah, the ALCS will be a definite no-win. Our record v. the angels is not as good as I would like, and New York is just ridiculous.
PB doing a fine Jim Tracy.
Will we play today in the snow? I don't know, but my dogs didn't want to go for a walk this morning.
I'm almost indifferent about the Lost Angels of Anaheim. I don't like the BoTox, and I'm not crazy about the attitudes of Angel fans. I seriously doubt they'll get past the Yank-mes.
@rbnlaw
Was I thinking that when I posted it? Yes. Did I post it anyway? Obviously. Am I going anywhere with this? No.
I just want to see what Kemp and Ethier can pull off in the new Yankee Stadium.
i want to see Road Loney at Yankee Stadium
Check out the newest ESPN poll. To help, I posted it on my site. Pretty ridiculous that they did the same thing again.
Frankly, if they're not going to follow the team color scheme, they should go with two different colors altogether. This ain't election night, Bristol.
