We need a game thread. AFL ball is getting underway.
Andrew Lambo, Russell Mitchell, and Lucas May getting the start for the Javelinas against the Yankees Ian Kennedy.
Sorry, still waiting to start my new job, so I have a lot of tie on my hands.
I'm following this on GameDay (I mean, when it starts). No way to actually watch, I presume?
ps- Javelinas is one cool name.
Dusty is gameday working for you?
No, you can't watch. I think in about a week or two they'll start doing a radio broadcast on MLB.com
Yes, GD is working. But it's only warmups right now. At least we've moved from lineups to warmups. This thing needs to start, else I'll have to, like, work and shit.
Same here. This was supposed to start at 11:35. WTF
I thought 11:35, too.
MLB Network should be carrying this instead of showing me the 1993 ALDS or whatever shit is on there now.
No kidding. They need to launch an MiLB Network (Minor League Baseball).
Finall working....
MiLF maybe? = Minor League - Fall
Lambo grounds out in his 1st AB.
Uh oh. Surprise have something going here.
Dodgers went 0 for 3 the first time around.
Grand salami! Javelinas reeling.
Damn Ike Davis, I knew we should've drafted him.
I like Ike.
Watching the other game, too. 1-0 Mesa leading Phoenix. Not as many top prospects in that one. Mike Stanton, Jemile Weeks, Brandon Snyder, and formerly our own Josh Bell.
I'm giving up on Javelinas on the day. 8-1 in the fifth and looking grim.
Well all that matters is how the Dodger players do.
0-4 combined. ugh
Looking at Thome in 1995 makes me wonder why he hasn't come under more suspicion.
0-5 now, although Lambo has a walk and a SB.
The beat goes on. Davis with two run double off of LA's Eric Krebs. (though the runners weren't his)
ugh. the Dodger farm system has had better days
Russell Mitchell with a double, scores two batters later. Lucas May with a solo homer.
Javelinas coming back.....now just 17-4
