As speculated over on Dodger Thoughts yesterday morning, it looks like Friday's NLCS Game 2 is getting "demoted" to the earlier timeslot, if this advert in the corner of FoxSports.com is any indication:
So the senior circuit gets the geriatric timeslot, while the heavily-hyped Yank-Mes (and Angels) get the prime time slot for their game. Fine, Fox and MLB. I'll go stock up on sunscreen.

I'm fixin' to go to that game. Fortunately, the office is closed that day, as I already used up my brownie points going to the NLDS early-bird special.
I got tickets for my birthday to this game. Thanks Dad Chih Kuo. I'll be the loud guy wearing blue :)
@HLACK:
But everyone at Dodger Stadium wears blue. How will we know that it's you?
Are you the guy that looks like Pedro Guerrero, just like your photo?
:-)
Wow, tix for Thursday's game are lookin a might expensive.
I'm checking into Friday's game.
Mr. C-
You're "fixin' to go?" I didn't know you spoke fluent Southern!
@rbn
Yeah, they pretty much double for every series. However, the 20 years since '88 have taught me to grasp the opportunity when it presents itself.
@db
Reckon I do...
Neeebs-
Interesting thought: if everyone looked like their avatar.
Mr C. - I tell you what.
I do look like my avatar!
(Though I have had a haircut since then.)
It's not so much the Yankees to blame on this one. It's because FOX has the ALCS and TBS has the NLCS. (Of course, I'm sure FOX chose the ALCS assuming the Yankees would be in there.)
I, too look like my avitar.
Mr. C,
Tix are much cheaper for Friday's day game. The AYCE Pavillion is going for $32 on SubHub right now.
Josh, don't use facts to divert us from blaming things on Yankees.
@rbn
That's not too bad. I was referring to the face value doubling. I'm not surprised that tix are going for a lot more at the night game.
Mr. C,
I see what you're saying now. I usually rely on StubHub, so I'm never sure about the face value. Of course, it provides a higher starting point for the SH tickets.
Oh, and the ACYE seats are up to about $45 a piece, purchased in a block of 4.
I think I'm going to have to just pull up a stool and watch on the telly this time around. Already spent a lot during NLDS. Not that I wouldn't run up a bar tab greater than the price of any ticket I would purchase...hmmmm...I'll have to work out that math.
@db
"Math is hard!"
@MC:
Math is hard, that's why they invented statistical calculators.
I was offered tickets to game 2 on friday, but couldn't take them because of a planned trip to Vegas. Talk about a hard decision! I'll have to place a bet on the Dodgers to make up for it.
Anyone know what time Thursday nights game might start?

DAY GAME?!??!?!
Crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap.
Time to try to reschedule. Just in case.
@GLG: Last I heard was 5:22pm.
Are official times for these things not going to be announced until there's a winner b/t Colorado and 7th Cirlce of Hell?
Flight from Boston lands on Thursday at 1:15...nothing like going straight from LAX to Dodger Stadium...first game there in 3 years!
just heard that 4500 additional nlcs tix have been released, some for $51.
Awesome, Andrew. Don't bring any of that bad Red Sox juju with you, though!
I might have to sneak out of work early...
any guesses on when they might play on Sunday? gotta be at night to avoid football, right?
Dusty-
While I don't like the Angels and don't hate the Sox, I grew to loathe this vintage of the Sox and their fans.
Many were apathetic, even more were delusional. There was an article in the paper about how the Sox were going to beat the Yankees, who, well they weren't currently playing.
So in conclusion, I thwart their mild dementia at all times, and I am happy, after so many nights til 1 am watching the Dodgers that I get to see them in the flesh at the stadium... I am pumped up to say the least.
