Random rantings and ravings about the Los Angeles Dodgers, written by a small consortium of rabid Dodger fans. With occasional comments on baseball, entertainment, pop culture, and life in general.

After hearing of Jamie's alleged infidelities, my backing goes to Big Frank. That is until we find out that Frank was involved in black market human organ trafficking or some other sort of naughty behavior; then I'm backing the SoSG "Take Over" plan.
Just a "heads-up." TBLA is calling the Sons out. Phil Gurnee wants to see some of the patented SoSG humor as it relates to the Mc Court divorce and the former director of protocol for the Dodgers.
So, c'mon Sax, Orel, Lasorda (?). The bloggosphere awaits. Maybe Karros can put together a puzzle or a graph.
Really? Well, I took a shot with the limerick in the frank/jamie caption thread. But let me brainstorm possible off-season competitions based on the divorce...
While waiting for the latest McCourt news, I found this over at MLB Daily Dish:
In other Cardinals news, FoxSports.com is reporting that a source in the organization has told them that Mark McGwire will be hired as the new hitting coach and it will also be announced tomorrow. McGwire has been on the sidelines of baseball since retiring in 2001, amid allegations of performance-enhancing drug use.
I like the sound of those wheels turning, EK.
We had a lot of McCourt humor going in a thread the other day. Still laughing about some of the comments.
Incidentally, if you do a google search on 'jamie mccourt infidelity' (no quotes in the searchbox), the 2nd link returned is a comment by neeebs.
So, anybody interested/excited for "The Plan"? I don't expect it to be "oh-my-gods-this-is-the-greatest-thing-ever" good... but I'm hoping it's still frakkin' good.
Amazon's reviews are not encouraging. And it's full price for the DVD/blu-ray. I think I'll just netflix it...
And by reviews, I mean the star rating. I didn't read the actual reviews.
And I'm fully aware that I'm talking to myself online. I do the same thing offline.
No, I'm listening, Fanerman.
Can we go back to the Phillies WS gear banner ad? I could stomach it a little easier than the Yank-mes one.
I just did the google search and Neeebs has been linked in someway with the McCourts.
Neeebs will be holding a press conference today at 2:00 p.m.
Funny that it picked up Neeebs' comment and not the more scandalous musings of MLASF, who wrote:
"akdlfja;djlfjas;kljdfiowenahnb"
I googled "Phillies, Cheat, MLB, Replaced by, Dodgers, and 1981 and miracle"
It looks like the Dodgers are still not going to be in the Fall Classic based on my current data.
I have been asked to inform you all that neebs categorically denies any and all accusations made regarding his involvement with any allegations of infidelity by Jamie McCourt as it relates to the pending dissolution proceedings between her and Mr. Frank McCourt. Neebs neither confirms, nor denies any wrongdoing in this matter.
The press conference for 2:00 has been indefinitely postponed.
Neeebs can't hide behind his attorney forever!
I have been again asked by neebs to relate the following message:
"Nah, nah, can't see me."
There will be no follow-up questions.
Oh, come one - I paid for this microphone!
* "on"
Against the better advice of counsel (who forgets that there are three "eee" in Neeebs) I remind you of the exact rundown that went like this:
10/14/2009 9:20 PM
Neeebs said...
I call infidelity. Only question is who was zooming who?
10/14/2009 9:27 PM
Dusty Baker said...
Wow, Neeebs. Quick with the infidelity trigger. *tiny pause* I think you're absolutely right.
Now maybe I knew something or maybe I didn't know anything. I'll never tell.
That concludes the news conference. No questions please.
Bros before hoes.
MLBTR is saying that if Akinori Iwamura is waived by the Rays, he could possibly land here in LA. Move aside, Uggla, I have a new dream 2B.
But really, Sweet Caroline? Were Frank and Jamie happier in Boston? Are you suggesting the Dodgers broke up their marriage? They tried to punish the Dodger fans by raising ticket and parking prices, but that wasn't enough to make them stop hating each other?
Should we cry now?
At some point in re: Jamie McCourt's alleged infidelity, I believe I also remarked that they didn't call Hudson the "O Dog" for nothin'.
I'm shameless.
Plus, Akinori Iwamura has one of the most symmetrical, melodic names in the league. That goes a long way.
I have been thinking about iwamura as the dodgers 2nd basemen since he got hurt earlier this year. That would be perfect.
Anyways, Jamie lost my support when she suggested fans would rather have the dodgers spend money on dream fields rather than free agents.
Frank Army!!!
In the spirit of the other day's corny thread:
I guess Jamie got what she Neeebs. He he.
Hahaha, I'll start the locker room clap for that one.
Will we get a decent back up catcher this off season?
I sure hope so.
Over under on seasons it will take for Jim Tracy to get fired is set at 3.
Or is that too high? Set it at 2?
2 sounds about right.
I officially apologize to neeEbs for the oversight on my part. One of the staffers here at rbnlaw headquarters is responsible for checking each of my posts for accuracy.
That person has been sacked.
Bring on Iwamura (Daily Dish has him going to the Dodgers as well; they also have Lackey landing here, but who's going to pay him?)
RB-
While you're at it, you should go ahead and sack those responsible for sacking the people who have just been sacked.
Well then I take the under. JT will be out in about 1 1/2. Not hatin just sayin.
DB,
Thanks for catching the MP ref.
Those who missed the reference, have been sacked.
Always got your back, RB.
Now that Jamie is gone, thankfully, can we please get some good starting pitching for a change?
