There's more baseball, folks! Pull up a chair if you want to see who's going to beat the Phillies in the World Series. Smart money says the Yankees, but the Angels remain the sole remaining hope for West Coast Baseball (not to be confused with East Coast Baseball™). (No, I'm not letting that go.)

This is as ready for ALCS SWT as I get.
Just think. He's sick. And he can stretch. Like that. What a player.
That said, go AL!
East Coast Baseball: Where small sample sizes, large payrolls, and east coast bias come together.
I find myself turning on the updated box score for this game.
Lost Angels prove Burnett is worth every penny they didn't pay him.
He's getting lit like the tree at Rockefeller Plaza.
AJ Kuroda.
Angels off to a big lead. Must be nice.
I think Burnett is a Kaminoan.
Torii Hunter pulls a Matt Kemp.
Josh, I thought that was the Dodgers' Bill DeLury?
Hiroki Burnett?
Hey, a Molina behind the plate. Think we'll pick up Benji in the off-season? Sorry, can't help myself, and I know I can't keep this up for six months.
I hate that I'm even asking, but I'm driving to Malibu and I can't find the game on the radio, so does anyone know where it is?
Soccer practice calls. I'm out like Manny on a play at the plate.
Erin,
AM 830. KLAA.
I hate myself for knowing that.
We're only getting Bengie if he wants to be a backup.
@MLASF
Starting next year, the DMV may require Bengie to be outfitted with back-up lights. Does that count?
No. No it does not.
Is Scott Boras lurking behind home plate? That is scary.
Hey Next year I won't be an SOSG rookie since I was called up in June.
I did my time at the sons of Billy Ashley minor league blog.
John Lackey looks awesome
maybe he would be even "awesomer" in Dodger blue?
I was just thinking that, JL. But he's going to be expen$$$ive.
Darren Oliver gives up three runs on one pitch. John Lackey is not pleased.
All of our money is going to dreamfields this offseason.
Well with that you can effectively say that Lackey isn't going to be an angel next year.
Looks like it won't be just another Halo victory.
I still would like to see John Lackey in Dodger Blue. I always liked him.
Man I hate the nuggets.
Man I hate the Yankees.
So it will be the Yankees and the Phillies. I never imagined it would be possible.
6-4 New York. The Angels bullpen doing their own meltdown.
I guess things really could be worse.
Why didn't Posada grab Jeter's ass?
Yankees say: bow down to East Coast Baseball!!! Ugh. I have to root for these guys?
So when the Yankees win the world series all ESPN employees get a paid holiday right?
(Ive been typing Holliday so much lately that the one L'd version looks incorrect.)
Nice to see the Angels are susceptible to two-out madness as well.
Two years in a row with two east coast teams. Baseball needs to make it so the world series is always West vs. East.
@Nic "So when the Yankees win the world series all ESPN employees get a paid holiday right?"
With Steve Phillips!
If the Yankees win it will be such a feel gold story for the media.
They will have so many off days to drool.
Can't believe Burnett is in line for the win.
Thank the gods I don't watch much ESPN...
Are the Angels rallying? Is the monkey coming out?
Yanks just signed Albert Pujols.
"Thank the gods I don't watch much ESPN"
if there is a white van outside your house and men in hoods knock on your door don't answer it. It's them…
Sacrificing with two men on? How un-AL-like.
Angels trading outs for runs. How gritty can they be?
I much prefer the dodgers "pull the ball into a double play" method.
It's all down to Vlad.
Maybe they'll try to IBB him and Vlad will reach out and hit it.
I could feel the breeze from that swing here.
Tied at 6. Fun game.
Hey, tie game, whattyaknow.
I have to admit, these games are much more fun to watch without the emotional investment. That's why I stopped making March Madness brackets.
Wow. Tie game! Nice job Vlad!
Never misunderestimate the heart of a champion! 7-6 Angels!
Maybe it will be another Halo victory.
Is Burnett actually pissed he didn't get the win?
No lead is safe with Fuentes lurking in the bullpen.
Who has the better pitching staff: Phillies or Yankees?
Yankees. We just stopped hitting and made the phils look really good.
I can't wait for Lidge to blow a save or two in the World Series.
Juan Rivera pulls a Jayson Werth.
Joba the douche.
Reggie Wilits is the prototypical fourth outfielder. Jason repko is sooo jealous.
Why is Fuentes wearing a Red Vine around his neck?
I suppose it is a little inconvenient to do a snack run during the game.
Brian Fuentes, meet Jonathan Broxton.
Wow, that would've been a great play.
I think the idea of sticking with you closer no matter what in the post season is pretty lame.
Not just saying this because Fuentes is in trouble.
@orel
I was going to say something to the extent that at least we're not the only team that loses the plate from time to time, but I thought it might be too soon.
Makes sense in theory, but managers (and players) like defined roles.
Rancho Fuentiendo!
O Dog wished his role was defined.
Such is the difference between 3-2 and 4-1.
Wow the Angels even lose the LCS better than us.
Still not one damn badger.
I don't want to ask why we couldn't do that, but...WHY THE HELL COULDN'T WE DO THAT?!
Ha! Reading the comments from after I left the thread I see that great minds (nic, MLASF, Orel, and me) think alike.
Go after Lackey and, possibly, Holliday in the off-season.
If we can get permission from Jamie's lawyers.
