World Serious Game 2 Thread: Utleys @ Jeters, 5p

A.J. Burnett (0-0, -.--) vs. Pedro Martinez (0-0, -.--).

Watching the World Series without the Dodgers is like watching your ex-girlfriend marrying George Clooney: You should feel joy, but you really feel mostly impotent bilious rage. So we'll understand if you want to pop in a copy of Bluetopia instead of watching tonight.

For the rest of you masochists, this Game Thread's for you. Have at it!

Sorry, I have better things to do like finding a parking space in Philadelphia.

Is it true that if Filly wins, they get to send all their corrupt cops back to NY?

Day 4 of my world series trip with no world series.

I am going to look for frank on sunset and a few other places tonight. I am bit worried he has locked himself in seclusion.

The game seems to be on every TV I pass but no one is watching. So once again I question my reality and mortality. I can still taste the beer so what else really matters.

Damn Bastards always beating the Bastards, especially behind Pedro Bastard. Now Ryan Bastard is hoping to score Jimmy Bastard and give the Bastards a lead of Bastard-0

Did I mention that I think both teams are bastards?

Paul-

Appreciate your chronicling your adventures, and find it much more interesting than the banal comments from the game announcing crew. Keep it up!

"Matt Stairs strikes out swinging. Three out."

Huh. What a concept.

Dusty

I think it is therapy for me since a few of my good friends are not here because the angels and dodgers season ended last week. If you add that with the depression of knowing I was so close to being able to see 5 of the first 7 games of a freeway series and our dodgers win it all, well I am lucky I didn't dump myself into the Pacific.

No frank tonight but a good surf and turf while hearing the surf. I guess Frankie went to Hollywood.
