Maybe the Lions victory was just too much good fortune for Detroit to handle.
Hell of a game. Wish we didn't have to wait four hours for round II of this matchup. Tigers lead down to 1. I love the stretch run!
Today can still be a good day for Dodger fans, even if the boys (God forbid) don't clinch. A Rox win and a Giants loss officially eliminates the Gnats from the Wild Card, destroying their playoff dreams.
One of my favorite Dodger memories was being in attendance when the Giants got knocked out of the playoffs, mid-game, by a Houston win! Barry Bonds wouldn't even finish the game.
