Quick: What's the difference between the Joe Torre-led Yankees and the Joe Torre-led Dodgers? (Besides all those World Series trophies?) The Dodgers may not be talking publicly about the playoffs yet, but the post-season is on their minds — and faces:
Blake, DeWitt, Garland: Juan Ocampo/Dodgers; Ethier, Martin, Broxton, Wolf: Jill Weisleder/Dodgers; Kemp, Loney: Chris Carlson/AP; Ramirez: Jon SooHoo/Dodgers; Furcal: Nick Wass/AP; Sherrill: Jeff Gross/Getty Images

Breezy going for the 40-something Brad Pitt look!
This looks like excellent fodder for a puzzle. Which current Dodger player's name can you spell with these beards?
for real, like something out of Games magazine!
Sherrill's kind of looks like the Rolling Stones logo.
Fred's Brim, don't even get me started on Games Magazine. What used to be a bunch of challenging puzzles and contests has turned into a cross between Highlights magazine and those cheap books you see at the checkstands in supermarkets. Games has turned into a steaming piece of shit.
for real? That's too bad. My mom had a subscription in the 80s and there were some SOSG-quality puzzles in there, most of which my feeble tweenage mind couldn't handle (the more things change....) I always liked the magnified photos and they had a good scavenger hunt one year.
Sherrill resembles a vato in the left field pavillion.
Sax, it's not good to keep those feelings bottled up.
Vent man, vent.
I like the playoff beard idea. Works in hockey, why not in baseball. Now, if any other teams jump on the bandwagon, may they be doomed to a first round exit.

I agree with the assessment of the FBR's beard.
Orale!!
Now to convince Mrs. Dusty that I need to grow a beard in solidarity with the team's playoff run.
I haven't shaved in over a week in solidarity with the Bums.
@Dr Geek excellent idea!i'd grow a bear too but i have technical problems there.
HLACK is sporting his beard proudly.

Thanks, KK!
I said it at the start of the season: the free agents we added, the trades mid-season, the team atmosphere, the balance in the lineup and the consistency of the pitching overall, we are looking at a 1988-type of year. I feel it. I am growing a beard! Let's win it all, 21 years later.
