SoSG Lasorda Completes Simulated Blogpost Session

SoSG Lasorda had a simulated blogpost session earlier this week, giving SoSG staff hope that he may actually return to big-league posting in time for post-season activity.

Lasorda's session consisted of three paragraphs of heavy commentary writing, including ten minutes of assorted statistical research tasks on baseball-reference.com. Advanced posting activity, such as adding photo or video links to the blogpost, were not included in the session, given his extended period of time on the disabled list.

"Lasorda had a good simulated blogpost session," said SoSG Sax, who watched the whole outing, "but he's going to need a couple more sessions like this if he wants to go back out there and post again for real. The courage it's going to take just to sit behind his keyboard and type 250 words, in complete sentences and with coherent thoughts; heck, I don't even know if he remembers his google id anymore."

"We want to keep him on the roster for the post-season, but we're going to have to see reciprocal efforts on his part," added SoSG Sax. "I appreciate the rehab sessions Lasorda has gone through as he's tried to get back into blogging form. But we can't be wasting a SoSG roster spot if we don't think he's going to write again."

This is good news. The guys at The McCovey Chronicles and those weak Philly blogs haven't seen Lasorda's stuff. Should bode well for us going into the post-season.

Lasorda, please don't let this turn into another Schmidt situation.
