The bigger joke about the Penny quote is that everyone knows there won't be 42,000 at China Basin today. Gnats' fans are beginning to jump ship faster than the women and children from the Titanic. Couple the Gnats' current deficit with the Niners opening the season, and you get major indifference in the Bay Area.
Bottom line; no one will even care when Penny melts down today.

@Dusto he tried to catch a hard line, instead he collided with the first base umpire and it looked like he had hurt his neck. He looks fine now and i'll pray for it, because no matter what, he's the best we can have at first at this moment.
Loney ran into the first-base ump while going after a ball. He went down, and looked like he might have been concussed.
Double down the first-base line, Loney dove for it and crashed into the umpire. Both are fine.
