Usually he either slaps it through the infield or bloops it between infield and outfield. But if he puts everything into it and hits it on the nose, it goes to an OF.

clinching the division is going to be akward this year. The "Official" number is 2 so if they win tomorrow are they just going to hang around in the clubhouse for the colorado game to end? Or if they lose and Col wins they can take it with a win on monday, but that game is in the freaking morning our time. So will they be spraying Mimosa's on each other?
Anyways, i guess it cant be as weird as last years celebration. Going into the game knowing the the snakes already eliminated themselves by losing and the dodgers lose to the Pads and still celebrate anyways.
I was at that game, it was still a whole lot of fun. Manny throwing gum out to the crowd was hilarious.
