Dodger Thoughts reports that Dodgers will play the Bosox at Bahston; Yank-mes at Dodger Stadium; and the Tigers at home.
Still have the freeway series in May and June, so that means all 4 AL play-off teams on the schedule for next year.

Can we order tix now for the Yanks?

June 25-27 at home vs. the Yank-me's. Weekend series following the annual visit from the Lost Angels.

Finally, an interleague schedule I can appreciate.

We still haven't played in Da Bronx since interleague started. I wonder why that is. I figured Steinbrenner was still mad about '81

Yeah, good interleague schedule next year. I may need to plan a trip to Fenway.

FB: that is totally what JL is saying! Ha ha ha.

I had heard preliminarily that we would play AT Yankees so I had already planned on a 40th birthday bash in the Bronx. I'm a bit disappointed now that we are playing Yank-mes @ home. Still, the Fenway gig is neat.

I bet Frank loves that schedule but that means the team, who already had one of the toughest schedules of NL teams this year will follow up next year with no doubt THE toughest.

Course those teams may not be as good next year but I doubt they will suck.

@DB, yeah I had heard that too and got excited. I bet even Mark Loretta could hit a homer in that baseball arena

Juan Pierre would have 10 + HR at Yankee Stadium

Juan Pierre HR at Yankee Stadium: Only in RBI Baseball

True, Bayarea, but it will also be an important "yardstick" sort of exercise. We shouldn't be afraid of Yank-mes or Red Sox, and if we are, well, then we should make ourselves better in order to compete.

I say bring them on! I'll be here, there, and everywhere, heckling Yank-mes unmercifully.

Also, Bay Area trip will be at the end of July next year. Make your plans to join us die-hards who suffer the slings and arrows of Gnats' fans watching the Blue take another game from them.

Dusty, you are not even 40 yet??????

You're still a pup.

If Garland was there, it could be a mosaic of Dodgers beards.

@Neeebs: what'd you call people under 30?

You guys have to remember, neebs and I actually remember watching Scooby Doo in first run cartoons on Saturday morning. Not together, mind you.
Yes, we had color TV back then.

I can't wait to play the Stankees.

@Karina: I call people under 30 my "older" kids. Los hijos de chilenos son viente ocho, y viente quatro. Pero, mi hija chica es solomente ocho anos.

@RBN: Weren't we also around for the original run of Bugs Bunny? Flintstones?

I think it's great that we get to play those teams, don't get me wrong, but the other side of that coin is who our division rivals are playing - the fracking Orioles, Blue Jays, and Royals.

The schedule is hugely unbalanced and not in our favor. Every NL West team should play the same teams.

@Neeebs that was super cute :)

Now i know why you couldn't kill me!

Kyle Baker said...

Yep, just creepin' up on 40. But an old soul.
