Weigh In, Ladies...

There are apparently six guys in the major leagues hotter than Matt Kemp. At least according to Jenna Winterberg of FOXSports, who ranked Kemp the 7th hottest dude in the majors. Here's what she had to say:

What's better than beefcake? Lean, mean bison. This 24-year-old center fielder for the Dodgers is having a breakout year. And the 6-2, 230-pound fan favorite is totally single. Not convinced? Ahem. Just take a look at his body ... of charity work, of course — like Kemp's Kids, the group he started to benefit L.A. youth. Let's add it up: solid play + tough mug + soft heart = heartbreaker worthy of our adoration. Now there's some appealing math.

Only no. 7? I'm sorry, but there's nooo waaay Robinson Cano (no. 5) or Jimmy Rollins (no. 1) is hotter than Matt. I mean just check out their respective...ummm, I mean, I personally have no comment. Other than to say between Kemp, Mario Lopez, and the Marlins Manatees, we better get some photos of hot women up here soon.

We need our resident expert, KARINA, to weigh in on this debate.

The Bison is number one in my book.

I'm having trouble seeing the pictures.

As a heterosexual dude, I'm inclined to agree with Jeanette. Grady, Matt, and David seem pretty hot. Bronson and Jimmy? Eh.

Does Otis Nixon still play?

Neeebs, your wishes just came true, but i'm not the resident of judging on male attractiveness, i'm the guest fashion police which involves another radius of action and i sustain James Loney possibly is the most stylish player on the MLB.

However, justice has been served!. I saw all SoSG coverage on the mermaids, among other attractive women (no love for the female readers?) and i had to bite my tongue but now we're even.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, however, I don't agree with three quarters of the list, i.e Bronson Arroyo should definitely have rank higher, he's dreamy (and a musician!). Marco Scutaro has been breaking hearts (not mine, though, rumor has it guys, his wife is spectacular). If she wanted to represent Venezuela, she shoud have chosen Johan Santana, because he's gorgeous, a family man (the story how he fell in love and got engaged with his wife is a fairy tale) and a nice guy all around. There are at least 3 or 4 Dodgers more good-looking than guys on that list but i'll keep my mouth shut (you'll have to ask my mom on that).

David Wright is what we call "un muñeco 'e torta" but i didn't know he likes dogs, awwwww.

A list of handsome major leaguers that doesn't include one or a few of these: Joe Mauer (he should be number one on any list), Justin Morneau, Joe Crede, Jack Hannahan, Justin Upton, John Maine, Curtis Granderson (he's a good boy to his mama), John McDonald and Jarrod Saltalamachia is incomplete.

Now i admit that Bison's big radiant smile can get himself out of trouble and getting ladies on trouble with him.

Wow, Karina, a pretty decent analysis for someone who self-describes as not qualified.

As for Muneco e torta....Doll cake?

As my wife would say, "mejito rico!"

(I could be spelling this wrong.)

Wow. Johan knew his wife since age 9. Thanks for pointing out that tidbit, Karina.

These are some good looking guys...but,in my opinion, THE most beautiful man in baseball right now is Brad Ausmus. Wow!!
I think he's absolutely gorgeous...What a smile!!
And he seems like an all-around great guy too...as well as an encouragement for the other players...!
And, yeah, he's just beautiful.

I think the standard by which all male attractiveness should be judged is embodied in one man; the father of this blog, The Garv.

But who am I to say?

Or at least his forearms.

Eric Karros said...

Otis Nixon was baseball's Jeff Hornacek.

Neeebs (The Original) said...

Where's the love for Randy Johnson here?

Chappy said...

No doubt on the forearms Orel.

I think the beefy forearms of baseball players is probably the only reason I was able to get the wife into watching games initially.

Now she's a full-on ball fan, but it was the magic of forearms that really made it happen for me!

Jebus, he looks like Bluto Blutarski.

Okay, weighing in way late but I just had to comment. James Loney as most stylish? Seriously? Did you see his Before the Bigs? He was wearing a different Famous Stars & Straps shirt and hat combination in every scene. Serious fashion DON'T. Unless you are 16 or in a frat. And, even then, you look stupid but you are kind of expected to so you get a pass. But, I maintain, Matt Kemp is the sexiest man in professional athletics. Though, I also find Chan Ho Park with facial hair pretty attractive, too. I don't really expect to get a co-sign on that one.
