Slumdog Meets O-Dog

"No, Rob Flippo, you are the man."

Elmo throwing out a ceremonial first pitch went so well that the Dodgers have decided to upgrade to an actual live human being for tonight's game. From a Dodgers press release:

"Slumdog Millionaire" star Anil Kapoor (Millionaire host "Prem") will throw the ceremonial first pitch at Dodger Stadium tomorrow night, May 4, before the Dodgers take on the Arizona Diamondbacks at 7:10 p.m.

One of the most successful actors in Hindi films, Kapoor has entertained audiences for more than 25 years. He has performed in nearly 100 Hindi movies and received numerous accolades, including four Filmfare Awards (Indian equivalent of the Oscars) and the coveted National Award for "Pukar," which he also produced.

Kapoor is set to star in the upcoming eighth and final season of the Emmy-winning Fox drama "24," which will mark the actor's debut on American television.

Anil Kapoor on "24"? Can you imagine Kiefer Sutherland? "Is that my final answer? IS THAT MY FINAL ANSWER?"

UPDATE: Kapoor in action!
