If this is what happens when Manny visits the clubhouse, just think of what it'll be like when he actually returns to the lineup. The Dodgers hit FOUR solo shots tonight, two from Andre Ethier and one apiece from Matt Kemp and Orlando Hudson. Chad Billingsley threw 117 pitches over 5 2/3 wobbly innings but still got the win, while the bullpen, led by Jonathan Broxton, did its usual scoreless effective thing. Broxton allowing the run messed up your last line.
Win number 10,000 in franchise history! (Counting all incarnations of the team.)
You mean someone actually reads these?
Corrected, thanks for the note.
What can i say, Im an Orel PGT fanboy.
Four homers, none of which were in the text-to-win home run inning (4th). Dodger fans again go mattressless.

You are an army of one.
"Dodger fans again go mattressless."
Mattresslessness is a real problem!
Does anybody win a matress?
or as the Americans call it, a mattress?
No, guv'nor.
Giants win, remain 8.5 back.
Actually, you guys should have a poll to see which Son is has the biggest fan following on this site. (Of course, assuming that its possible to pick a favorite.)
That would be kinda funny. I could see the Sons jostling for position already.
Neeebs! Buddy! How ya been?
Neeebs, have I ever told you how dashing your avatar is?
Great time at the game tonight for Sax and Mrs. Sax. Wonderful weather, beautiful crowd. The middle-school kids next to me cracked up when I called Eckstein Mini Sirloin Burger (though to be fair he had a great night at the plate). And Bills fought through a tough night to earn the win.
All four home runs were crowd-gasping "oh!"-type of shots, from those in the know. Unfortunately, those not in the know gasped at all the other balls hit to the track for harmless fly outs...
Dodgers win, four solo shots, outstanding relief work...
and a Star Wars Post Game Thread featuring Han Solo...Perfect!

Oh how I missed you - it's a tough taking a loss into an off day
Another brilliant post game thread and picture.
You guys are difficult not to love. (How's that for a double-negative?)
Now if we can just have a Lasorda and Pedro sighting, to spice up the competition.......because winter hibernation is over.
