Scoreboard Watching: May 3

Two NL West games of interest on the plate today, while the Dodgers prepare for a three-game series against the Brewers:

First up we've got D'backs at Astros at 5p. Cesar "Exxon" Valdez (0-0, no ERA) faces Filepe Paulino (0-3, 5.40 ERA) at Minute Maid Park. The Diamondbacks are currently tied for fourth / last place along with our Dodgers, so we might as well root for the 'Stros, the worst team in the National League (at 8-16, they are already 8.5 games back and it's May 3).

The more interesting game, however, is Rockies at Padres, with 2010 no-hitter pitcher Ubaldo Jimemez (5-0, 0.79 ERA) going against Kevin Correia (4-1, 3.86). The Padres still lead the NL West with a 16-9 record, four ahead of the third-place Rox and five ahead of us. Let's hope Ubaldo pitches to form.

Dbacks/Stros is the At Bat free game of the day.

Snakes tied it up in the second. Top 4, 1-1.

Technically, and according to tradition, we SHOULD be hanging out in this thread. Maybe I'll go check another one.

I had no idea Torrealba was a Padre now. The scoring summary for the COL/SD game was confusing the hell out of me for a little bit there.
