Transformers 3 Targeting 52-Minute Run Time

Potentially against her will, Megan Fox has indeed been dropped from Transformers 3: Attack of the CGI Robot Battlescenes (as Delino posted last night in the GameThread):

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Megan Fox, who made her name as Shia LaBeouf's sultry love interest in the first two Transformers movies, has been dropped from the third.

Paramount Pictures said Wednesday that Fox's option was not picked up for part three in the blockbuster Michael Bay series. The studio, which released the first two movies about shape-shifting machines doing battle, declined to give further details or say who would replace the 24-year-old actress.

Fox's publicist, Dominique Appel, did not return a message left at her office seeking comment.

And if this graph is scientific, I can only conclude we're in for a short third movie, right?

Sigh. I suppose there's always Jonah Hex.

While we're considering pie graphs, I want to shout out to Josh S. for his post at 4.28p in yesterday's GT, alerting us to this also hilarious graph:

That's a generous plot extrapolation.

I concur.

That graph must not be for Revenge of the Fallen since I don't see a value for "mind-numbing horseshit."

I would have liked to see 95% Megan Fox and 5% explosions.

Is that RAND study finished that was going to map the tangents explored in the average SoSG GT?

@Dusty

They've outsourced the task to Deep Thought. Only 9,999,999 Years and 10 months left on the progress bar.

But presumably Robots & Explosions are splitting their half of the pie, so Megan Fox wins by a landslide.

No Megan Fox in Transformers equals a lot fewer kids going through puberty next summer

@Chris
Megan Fox also equals explosions.
