Our Next Brilliant Campaign

These two hunky men have already divided the nation, and turned this site into our own version of the Jack/Locke fight on Lost.

Cage match! Cage match! Cage match!

I was thinking it's more like the Demosthenes/Locke rivalry, as in a secret plot to take over the world.

Though in that case, one of y'all would have to be a chick.

I respect how we can be discussing a cage match and Demosthenes in the same thread.

I'm confused, which one is supposed to be the sparkly vampire?

Funny, my daughter forced me to watch Twilight last night for the first time. I still don't get it. Werewolves and Vampires in the same movie? What's up with that?

@Karina

Sax. Sax is sparkly.

I know it was going to turn into a fight for the title of Uber Son sooner or later. But since I don't watch Lost, can I say WTF?

Orel said he would kill and eat me on the Island. I'm not sure if that's a positive or negative. Sax skirted the issue.

So if we come to a consensus on one part of the mixed metaphor (Sax = Sparkly Vampire, Orel = Buff Werewolf), which one is Jack and which one is Locke?

Kyle Baker said...

Is EK, Jacob, then?

MR.F said...

Jacob has to be Orel. EK is probably the one torn between the two, so he's Bella.

Orel vs Sax!

No, FB.

Orel vs Sax!

My money is on Ben. He's a sneaky little shit. (quoting Dean Wormer)

Stephen A. Douglas was a great debater, but Abraham Lincoln was the Great Emancipator.

@DB - everyone except Kong was a firebreathing menace!

@fanerman - nice work with the Sufjan quote!

Dodgers trivia I learned at lunch today: Celtics great and NBA HOFer Bill Sharmin was in the Dodgers minor league system back in the 50s. He got called up in 51 but never played in a game. But he did get tossed out of a game for bitching at the umps! Apparently he is the only player to have been tossed but not have played in an actual game

Excellent trivia, FB!

I'd like to see King Kong vs. Douglas, with Jim Lehrer as a moderator.
