Two people voted for Karros? WTF?

EK- Did you vote for yourself?

Surprised as anybody that Alomar and perhaps Bert "Be Home" Blyleven didn't get in this time, but props to Andre Dawson for making the cut. When I was in my teens but before I had a real summer job, I would watch every Cubs game because our cable co, like so many others, carried WGN. When Dawson would get up to bat for Cubs, you just KNEW some shit was gonna happen. I was scared and I was thousands of miles away from Wrigley.

Congratulations EK!

If I could, I'd tell Bert to don't stop Blyleven

You just knew 32.3 percent of the time he would have a productive at-bat.

Dawson is pretty boarderline, but I think he deserves to be in.

Blyleven, Alomar, Larkin, Raines, Tramell, and Edgar Martinez were all more deserving, though. Sad they didn't get in.

One thing I'm seeing is that a lot of the schmucks who left Alomar off the ballot did so to "preserve the prestige of the first ballot."

Bullshit.

I hate writers who think so damn highly of themselves (cough, Plaschke, cough).
