Offerman detained after slugging umpire (AP/ESPN.com)
I think it's safe to say Jose Offerman has anger issues. After going all Juan Marichal on an independent league pitcher and catcher in 2007, Offerman, now a manager, has punched an umpire during a game in the Dominican Republic. Vin Scully Is My Homeboy has video of the "attack," which is pretty wimpy — but hey, a punch is a punch. Offerman makes Milton Bradley look like Barney the dinosaur. How does he keep getting jobs?
