Frank McCourt says that, despite his comfortable sartorial style, this is in fact a painful and sad time for the Dodgers' sole (or part?) owner:
McCourt tells KCAL-TV this has been the most trying time of his life, both personally and professionally. He also said Thursday he has written agreements that make it clear he is "sole owner" of the Dodgers and feels confident when all is said and done, a court will agree. The couple is fighting over who is the team's rightful owner.
Come to think of it, he did look pretty sad, right?

I paid particular attention to that part of the interview. Unless he's the biggest blowhard in the world, and a huge (and accomplished) liar, I can't imagine he isn't right on with his assessment and understanding of his legal position with regard to the legal paperwork that shows he's the sole owner.
