Thanks for the Memory

Veteran Loretta to announce retirement (Dodgers.com)

As far as many Dodger fans are concerned, Mark Loretta has exactly one highlight in his career — but it was a doozy. Way to go out on a high note, Mark. We loved your greatest hit.

UPDATE: Loretta retires to Padres' front office (Padres.com)

Good bye, Squibby McBlooperton.
Just wish he had knocked that dinger at some point in the season.

RB-

Are you bidding goodbye to Juan Pierre, or Mark Loretta?

Squibby? I thought that was the guy from Laverne and Shirley.

DSB guy just sent a Tweet for the 1st time in months. Season must be getting close.

DB,
Although closely related, JP was affectionately known as Slappy Mc Popup.

Squibby will be missed; Slappy's potential will be mourned. Wonder how Angel fans feel about trading their biggest disappointment?

I favor Dusty's proposal of a "Like" button. Sadly, 93% of Facebook users will not cut and paste this into their status bar. Will you be brave enough?
