Thanks to SoSG reader Melissa for the tip: The ABC drama "Castle" will feature Joe Torre in its February 8th episode. The plot involves "the murder of a famous baseball player," so my guess is that Torre plays a murderer. I mean manager.
But that's not all! Melissa informs us that "devoted Dodger fan Alyssa Milano is also on this week's Jan 11th episode." I'm not sure if Alyssa's episode is baseball-related too, but if it is, she probably plays your average Dodger blogger. Or a murderer.

I do have it on good authority that Penny has a serious thing for Zito. Or maybe it was for a baked ziti. I get those confused.
Finally got around to reading about the Torre episode. The dead player's agent is played by Ray Wise, aka the devil on Reaper. Seems like a bit of typecasting to me but I guess Scott Boras wasn't available.
