But soon afterwards, Mr America entered the arena. And nobody could tell the difference.
Look for SoSG's new correspondent "Jason Grabowski" any day now.
Random rantings and ravings about the Los Angeles Dodgers, written by a small consortium of rabid Dodger fans. With occasional comments on baseball, entertainment, pop culture, and life in general.

Seriously? Jason Grabowski? C'mon, there are a lot of better names than that!
Hee-Seop Choi
Cecil Espy
Paul Bako
Hiram Bocachica
Yhency Brazobán
Pedro Astacio
Bubba Crosby
And my personal favorite, Don LeJohn
The Dons LeJohns have it.

i honestly have no recollection Jason Grabowski even playing for the Dodgers. How could I miss a guy who was in 113 games with 192 plate appearances for the Lima-time Dodgers? Did I take a lot of acid that summer?
For new names, I vote for Omar Daal or Kevin Gross.
There should be a Son who was a pitcher (Lasorda doesnt really count)
@fb
Orel's not going to sit at your table in the cafeteria any more. Say what you want about the only sons without a last name, but the bulldog could pitch.
^blackberry post. Please mentally remove the unneccessary plural.
Greg Brock love, anyone?
oh my, what is wrong with me? that 2004 acid is having more of an affect than I realized. How could I forget Orel, the only Son I didn't vote for? My sincerest apologies!
You forgot the "perennial" Hollywood Hogan in this post. He was the Hulk's evil alter ego...brother!
FB-
Man, that must be some creeper acid.
GLG-
You avatar looks like it is Gagne saying "[something]....brother!"
DB - so creeper that I've never taken any!
(or so I think...)
@Sax
I've long suspected a connection between the Dodger Thoughts commenter-from-yesteryear "Greg Brock" and SoSG.
I'd say that Manny Mota, Olmedo Saenz, and Luke Prokapec (in the Greg Brock spirit) would also be sensible alter-egos.
I'm looking forward to the debut of The Pedro Machine.
Greg Brock would be an appropriate Son since he followed Steve Garvey at 1B. I'd also like to throw Franklin "Cadillac" Stubbs into the mix.
SoSG re-runs may not be a bad idea. On slow news days, just copy and paste entire posts from yesteryear, context be-damned!
