"Hit 'em where they ain't," Wee Willie Keeler said, and the Dodgers didn't do exactly that. All night their bats hit the ball — straight to the Rangers' defense. Hard grounders, line drives, fly balls, you name it: The Rangers seemed perfectly positioned with stellar defense every time.
The Dodger offense ended up with four strikeouts, four walks and 11 left on base. Hiroki Kuroda was charged with five runs over 5 1/3 innings, striking out six in an otherwise forgettable game. The Dodgers' interleague road misery continues — for now. Back at 'em tomorrow!

so frustrating...
i had to relieve some stress at the end of the game thread
Drinkin' & postin'?
Sorry I wasn't on the thread. Went out to watch some Stanley Cup action. Another tough interleague loss, and to Andruw Jones's new team nonetheless.
I opted to watch the hockey finals tonight, over watching the dodgers. I guess I made the right choice.
So we just chock this one up to one of those games. Remember, we need to win series or to hold serve. We haven't lost a series in quite awhile. Let's keep it that way.
But we've been splitting like crazy. Three of our last four series have been splits.
Then this three-game series should remedy that.
The only two teams with winning records against the Dodgers this year are a team from Texas and a team from the AL West. Bad omen for the weekend?
Tonight's game sucked, but those pics are pretty cool. The second one looks like a video game cutscene.
colorado and SF won today.
im not looking forward to this month full of the AL.
That's a cool picture of Loney.
We'll bounce back. This team has "it."
Orel, yes, drinkin and postin :) i wouldnt take back a word either. stupid AL West...
Hiro deserved much better. Torre's stupidity brought in Mota after using Leach, a LHP who throws in the mid-90s and can get RHB out, as a LOOGY and bringing in Garbage Mota in a high leverage situation in a still winable game.
