LaRoche Puts His Money Where His Bat Is

From MLBTR:

Adam LaRoche turned down a two-year, $17MM offer from the Giants to sign with the Arizona, where he may receive as little as $6MM for one year. LaRoche said that one reason for his decision was that he preferred Chase Field's hitting conditions to AT&T Park.

LaRoche at Chase Field (career): .238/.256/.405
LaRoche at AT&T Park (career): .395/.460/.767

Chase Field park factor (2009): 1.193 (2nd of 30)
AT&T Field park factor (2009): 1.052 (10th of 30)

Okay, it's a pretty small sample size at each park (43 and 50 PAs, respectively), but tell us, Adam, why do you really not like the Giants? Is it because you're really...a Dodger fan? (LaRoche was born in Orange County.)

Maybe he doesn't like pot smokers, and Lincecum and Zito are too much.

Word on the street is that Garland's getting interest from the Jints. That should be very interesting.

Is a man with facial hair like that allowed not to like the herb? I mean, what are the chances?

@SM86.
No, he was afraid they would raid his stash.

ATT is a cavern compared to the (former) BOB. La Roche must like the heat.

Oh my God, why don't you start a anti-Giants blog and report their news on that blog.

Oh wait, this is it.
