Scary moments. It's good to hear that both players avoided any major injury.

There's got to be some kind of curse on the Mets. A Chase Utley jersey must be buried deep underneath Citi Field. I've never seen injuries destroy a team like this before.

They must have built that new stadium on an Indian burial ground, and those chickens are coming home to roost now.

Just read a Tweet from Dodgertown USA:

"Hiroki Kuroda was discharged from the hospital this morning and is expected to rejoin the team today, we wish him the best in his recovery."

Horrible comma splice, but great news!

Ian Kinsler was also hit in the head last night.

Heath Bell put on waivers. Time for MLASF to pipe in with his patented "Cough, sign him, cough" bit!

Is it finally Taco Time?

Kyle Baker said...

Stop! *pause* Taco Time.

Don't count on it, Dusty. The Padres need to be wowed in order to trade Bell, especially now that Peavy's gone.
