Post-Game 66 Thread: Dodgers Refuse A's Offer

A's 5, DODGERS 4

By making three errors, the A's offered the Dodgers three extra outs tonight — but the Dodgers refused the help, coming up a run short. Even more frustratingly, the Dodgers left five runners on third and hit into double plays in the seventh and eighth innings.

Hiroki Kuroda struggled, allowing two home runs and five earned runs over six innings, but once again the bullpen (Brent Leach, Guillermo Mota and Ronald Belisario) came in and stopped the A's offense.

Andre Ethier was the Dodgers' offensive highlight, hitting a clutch seventh-inning single that drove in two and brought the Dodgers within one run. But that's where they stayed. Let's hope the Dodgers can come back tomorrow...and THEY CAN ACT LIKE MEN!

Is it time to panic about Martin yet? This feels like more than just a slump.

Not #1 but #2. I'll take it though.

Martin looks "smaller" than last year. He has lost a bit of bat speed and bulk.

Hmmmmmmm
