Don't Forget Father's Day at Dodger Stadium

Do you get jealous every time you read about another blogger standing on the Dodger Stadium grass? Do you envy those who get field access during one of those expensive stadium shindigs? Well, here's your chance to even things out:

Father's Day Catch

Come play a game of catch with Dad on the grass at Dodger Stadium. The event is FREE and all are welcome to attend. The 2009 Father's Day Catch is presented by Macy's and soft baseballs will be provided to those in attendance.

Event Details:
Date: Father's Day, June 21, 2009
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Location: Outfield at Dodger Stadium

We did this last year and I can't recommend it highly enough. Take advantage of Dodger Stadium's finest fan-friendly event — it's free, it's fun, and hell, you don't even need a kid to attend.

So, do they stop at 1:00pm and broadcast the game from Anaheim on the Jumbotron, while letting the fans sit in the box seats to watch the game?

Probably not, since Sunday's game is at 5 (ESPN).

I have 4 kids. If anyone wants to borrow a daughter, let me know. The son is not available.
I'm seriously thinking of making the trip to the stadium for this. We have tickets to the game later that day (I really don't like Anaheim Stadium of Anaheim)

I read this blog post somewhat late, but found it full of sound common sense and helpful thoughts.
