Post-Game 42 Thread: We're Forked

"Stick a fork in the 2013 Dodgers. They are dead."
—Eric Stephen, True Blue LA

BARVES 5, DODGERS 2

The box score (and recent history) tell it all: The Dodgers only had three hits today, yet led 2-1 going into the eighth inning, when Kenley Jansen and Brandon League combined to allow four runs.

Who can we blame for this one? How about ourselves for actually believing things would be different this year?

Blow up the team. Keep Kershaw, AJ, Greinke. The hell with anyone else. All expendable.

Safe to say this has been the lowest point of the season...so far. Question is: How low can we go?

The stories and rumors are flying fast and furious that Donnie ball is on its way out...we can only hope.

Yeah the Twitters are alive w rumors tonight.

There doesn't seem to be a lot of meat to the rumor, but it's still taking hold.

That's because Juan Uribe ate the meat.

Fire Manager and problem solved! Next stop violence in the Middle East.

Cool, we can fire the manager and be like the '09 Rockies. Unbelievable hot streak, bounced in the first round, then 3+ years of mediocrity.

Unlike the '09 Dodgers. They were bounced in the SECOND round, followed by 3+ years of mediocrity. Totally different.

Donnie has to go, you can see by the way the team plays they do not respect him with all the boneheaded hitting and baserunning mistakes we make. This team needs a stern voice not a passive cheerleader.

Turn the team over to Trey Hillman and hire a new manager in the off season.

Maybe we shouldn't have called them the Barves all weekend.
