Post-Game 27 Thread: Deflated

ROCKIES 7, DODGERS 3

In a terribly slow game rife with stranded baserunners, wanton pitching changes (neither starter lasted into the fifth), eternal time in-between pitches, full counts, and Juan Uribe, the Rockies ended up crawling just a little bit faster than the Dodgers.

Josh Beckett was horrible, giving up three runs in the first inning to the first five batters alone (recording only one out, on a sacrifice). Adrian Gonzalez tried to make a game of it with a 2-run HR in the first, and almost added another HR if not for a great steal over the wall by Dexter Fowler. Matt Kemp waa fooled many times tonight, whiffing three times. When Justin Sellers (batting .200) is your rally-extending PH, you are in trouble.

This game may not even be over yet. But SoSG Sax is done. (As is the SoSG boobs meme (for now)).

I'm still bummed about the Fowler catch. I wanted to lose 7-6.
