Chris Capuano (1-2, 6.60) vs. Kris Medlen (1-5, 3.44).
Do the Dodgers possess road toughness? After getting whacked by Justin Upton and his MLB-leading 14th home run (and a granny at that), the team turns to Capuano, fresh off his first win of the season — over Miami. Atlanta ain't Miami. Will Cap notice the difference?

GREAT catch by Matty, Atta boy Bison!
Things I learned from SoSG:
Miami is not Atlanta.
Hey DB...I thought I was on my own for a minute there.
Always have your back, Karen!
A blooper. Although in the old days I've heard players refer to that as a "Duck fart".
I'm here for a little bit, Karen!
DB & Mr. F...Yay! We have the makings of a party. Now all we have to do is win.
May be a tall order, though.
Got a lil somethin somethin going here. One man on 2b w one out.
That, or we don't.
Ok, REALLY not. DG tries to steal third with Kemp at the plate and is thrown out.
Damn Dee. You never get thrown out at 3rd to end an inning!!
What a great job by Punto. I'm telling you all, he's going to be our MVP this year.
In front of tv. Was playing with my new Ninja blender. Yowza. Gazpacho today, margarita tomorrow.
Why not margaritas today and tomorrow?
Medlen just mowed through the heart of our order (6th inning).
Are we back to noffense? Or did we never leave?
Cap responds with a seven-pitch inning.
I'm getting out the fixins' to make a shit sandwich.
Noffense is like a second home.
@Karen
Def agree re Punto. He's this season's Jamie Carroll.
And I mean that in a serious way.
@orel: still wrangling its power. 2 hp, 1500 rpm
Bad call ump
That looked fair to me. Looked like Johnson fielded it in fair territory.
@BJ: That's more powerful than my car!
@Dusty. I miss Jamie.
I know! It's a beast!
Looking forward to the bullpen maintaining this 1-0 lead. Yeah.
I miss Jamey, too. Who was it that commented a couple of seasons on how Jamey was a logical shortstop because he could see both 2nd and 3rd at the same time. Very mean, but I laughed my butt off. It's still one of the funniest things I have ever heard.
I haven't watched this whole game but Cap seems pretty impressive today. If he can keep this up, imagine a healthy Kershaw/Greinke/Ryu/Cap rotation.
@Karen: I don't remember that comment, but it's pretty hilarious.
A weak single up the middle and they start that stupid chant.
McCann't! Cap with seven solid.
That chop chant is so obnoxious I'd almost rather gear the beat LA rant
Cory Gearrin? Who?
Don't make fun of Jamie. :-(
Damn, Kings already down.
That was a great pick by Pena at third.
BJ...I know you're right. It was a very mean thing to say, especially since as the season went on we all came to love and appreciate Jamey. But as mean as it was it was hysterical. I'll pray for forgiveness later.
We had a great laugh about Carroll's eye placement but we all respected his heart and tenacity.
There it is. Kenley gives up a two-run homer.
Okayyyyyy.
How do we let these drunken hillbillies beat us?!?!
No. It was funny. But I love him so.
Good night, everybody!
At least the Kings tied it up.
Back to back by our potential closer.
Here's an idea: let the closers pitch first so we can decide if it's worth it to even bother sending in the starters.
This means Ned Colletti is going to trade Yasiel Puig for Octavio Dotel.
Haven't we already had to Dotel? If I remember correctly, he'll fit right in with this 2013 bullpen.
Nice bullpen Ned.
This is a playoffs bullpen!
Said no one but Ned.
Free Van Slyke!
Looking good Dodgers. Way to end another one.
