Hiroki Kuroda (1-2, 3.59) vs. Joe Saunders (6-1, 2.48).
COMMENTS: The Angels own the Yankees. Do the Angels own Joe Torre? Ken Gurnick says the prognosis is grim:
[The Dodgers] were 5-10 in Interleague games last year and are 4-23 in road Interleague games over the past four years. They've lost their last five in Anaheim and eight of nine there.
However, Kuroda is coming off 6 2/3 innings of no-hit ball, and the Dodgers are coming off a rare three-homer
game inning. The Dodgers' two-game winning streak—"A modest thing, but thine own," as Vin would say—gives them a modicum of momentum. The DH means there won't be an outfield controversy for the next three days. And really, that's all I can come up with because let's face it, Angel Stadium is a piranha tank and the Dodgers are a fatted calf. So here's a picture of WALL•E!
