Your SoSG Toolbox Gets Another Item

Thanks to SoSG regular Dusty Baker for pointing out this handy-dandy iPhone app: End of Page.

Tired of flicking dozens (or hundreds!) of times to get to the bottom of a very long page in your Web browser? Me too! That's why I created End Of Page - a fast and convenient way to scroll straight to the bottom of any webpage, such as long articles, books, blog posts with lots of comments, large text files, online discussion forums, etc, etc.

Surprisingly, the ability to scroll to the end of page is not featured in the browser on your device. You can scroll to the top of any webpage by tapping on the title bar, but scrolling to the bottom was simply left out of the browser design. So, given a particularly long page, it may be PRACTICALLY IMPOSSIBLE to know what's at the bottom! Flick no more - End Of Page will fly you there in no time.

This is a must-have app for those of us commenting on GameThreads, especially as the comment count nears a multiple of 200. Thanks, Dusty (and Josh S. for quickly beta testing it for the SoSG masses)! (Loading instructions are listed on the iTunes site.)

UPDATE 1:17p: This iPhone app is not to be confused with End of Days, a crappy Schwarzenegger movie. Just to be clear.

Pfft, yet another way in which the iphone is inferior to the bb. We just press the "b" button to go all the way to the bottom.

Suck on that Steve Jobs!

You're welcome. I've already saved *calculates* about 42 minutes since I installed it - time I will now spend not ceaselessly scrolling to the bottom of my iPhone screen but instead, with this new stockpile of precious time, posting ever more masterful insight in this space for the benefit of all.

GregNoPhoto-

It is incredible that such an amazing piece of technology that the iPhone is that the software designers at Apple could have failed to include a shortcut for such a simple yet important task.

It's the star of Juno's least favorite app.

I know, Dusty. I keep dropping little things like this in threads when I should be saving them for my off-day puzzle.
