Lightning fast, Orel.
Blowouts make PGT's easier.
Nice!
Andre wrote the PGT for me.
A good laugh after the bullpain.
Are there any relievers on the market this season (aside from perennial trade-bait Heath "Taco" Bell) that would be worth a look?
Troncoso only threw 5 pitches at least.
we cant afford it.
The end of this game was embarrasing
Actually, a few interesting closers in their last year, including Brian Fuentes (vesting option), Matt Capps, Trevor Hoffman (mutual option), Jason Frasor, Frank Francisco, and Rafael Soriano.
Kiko Calero, JJ Putz, and Saito-san are also impending free agents.
"hosted party for at-risk youth."
*chuckle*
BTW, did anyone happen to notice the the large souvenir size drink at DS is just a paper cup now? We cant even afford souvenir cups anymore!
When Belly and Kuo come back, Russ and Ramon are GONE
The guys from AEG are getting into the the Los Angeles football team business? Wow, they get shit done when they want to.
Can Ethier pitch in relief? We can really use some relief. Rolaids?
Loving that new (old) downtown NFL idea. Cue old self-interested local pols who will kill it in favor of a POS plan to renovate the Coliseum.
'Dre- thanks for walking my dog tonight. You da man!

The Coli sucks.
If anyone could get a stadium built in LA its the guys from AEG. They did the whole LA Live/Staples Center area.
A stadium downtown would be much better than in Industry, especially as it would be available via public transportation.
That would be all 4 major sports teams playing in the actual city of Los Angeles. Pretty crazy. Usually teams are just moved to a surrounding suburb.
Of course it would take much longer than the Industry stadium to build, what with the planning, designing, destruction of the hall of the Convention Center, and actual construction of a stadium. The Industry stadium just needs a tenant.
No team is moving till there is a new CBA in place anyways.
hey were tied for second in the west. YAY!!!!
Embarrassing to give up a five-spot in the ninth, but a win is a win. Way to go Blue!
It's a three-way tie.
MMMMMmmmmm.....three way....
I think lost in the whole offensive explosion was the fact that Padilla pitched very well. Well minus one pitch to the skull or rowand.
Hope the dude is Ok, btw
Anyone else going to the Yard tomorrow?
Yeah, Rowand's probably going to try out that phat helmet when he comes back. Hopefully soon. Never like seeing guys take one to the skull.
Nah, im going to sundays game. I really would have liked to see Haeger pitch.
We are finally a 500 baseball team...Despite our bullpen
Zack Greinke has a tiny head
Yesterday when i was leaving the game (i left in the 9th when sherrill loaded the bases and i saw Ortiz coming in) i heard some slightly intoxicated gent asking some poor vendor if they could put three extra fingers on a foam finger because that where we were going to end up this year, fourth place. Then he walked awat and was chanting "4th place" as he walked away.
The Dodgers are 2-0 when i leave the game early btw. So i feel partially responsible for the win last night.
Both were Dre walk offs too.
Missed the Rowand pitch. Hope he's ok. Did it hit husskull, or just his bill of the cap (as espn reports)?
it looked like it was where the Bill meets the earflap.
^ his skull
I live near Industry, so i'm hoping for the stadium to be built there.
I'm going to the game on sunday. I posted on facebook to see if any of my friends wanted to go, and now I'm going with Giants fans. This is what I get for going to school in Norcal.
why are people calling into dodgertalk with angry billingsley calls?
Bryan- make sure you point out the world series banners up on the walls.
Because people are morons.
The only person that attracts more unjust hate from fans might be Bynum.
I think with the recent play Bynum's getting even more love.
Chock Full O' Nuts would have been more appropriate. It being jackie robinson day part two.
I was at the game. Slash (aka Saul Hudson) played the National Anthem and God Bless America. Both renditions were embarrassingly bad. Along with the unhelpful California Lottery facts and funniest home videos, the atmosphere at the stadium seems muted and resigned to a mediocre season. I don't like it one bit.
I hate reading the comments on MCC. It's like a strange mixture of bitterness, depression, and middle-school maturity.
at least they are doing stupid dot races every half inning like at the Giants park, shit gets old fast.
MLASF, Agreed. It has more of a basketball GT feel to it.
Now I go to bed. See everyone bright and early for the FOX game tomorrow.
It looks like Rowand has some facial fractures, which sucks.
WIth that note guess who has the most success against Knuckleball pitchers, Rowand (11-17 against wakefield)
