What has 2 thumbs, a scale, and baseball cards?

THIS GUY!!! I swear I don't go to Target all that often, but I had to pick up some shelves. As soon as I walk in, I turn the corner and BAM, the same dude with the same scale. At least this time he isn't on the ground and decided to use the checkout lane as his counter. Hope he got what he wanted!

Reminds me of why I stopped collecting Hot Wheels.

That Target looks awfully familiar.

But then they all kind of look alike, don't they?

I suddenly have this urge to start putting ball bearings in random packs of baseball cards

Clearly this guy needs to be stopped for an interview, much in the vein of the "Don't Stop Believin'" Guy!!

We gotta get an interview with this guy.

I like how AC points to other people with his thumbs.

And also how he apparently takes pictures while perched atop a shelf.

But yeah an interview with the guy would be sweet.

And speaking of BAM, that was a great magazine.

We need a round table discussion with a crack SoSG reporter, the Target card guy, the DSBG, Deltalina, and a representative of the Dodgers merchandising/inventory person.

Steve Sax said...

AC, why are you going to Target to buy shelves, anyway?

How is it that you've run into this guy not once but twice? Is it a function of the fact that both you and he often go to the same Target store?

While I agree that an interview would be nice, I am guessing there is no prayer that he is willing to talk to real people.

Seriously I don't visit Target all that much and this was the second time at this store that I found him. The last time I was there was when he was there too. If anyone wants to interview this guy, he can usually be found at the Target in Manhattan Beach on PCH - looks like the hours between 12 noon to 2 pm. Maybe he will weigh his options and decide to talk only if you scale back your questions.
