Charting The Final #42s

Via a melodic tweet from Alyssa Milano, here's a great chart from flipflopflyball on the last players to wear Jackie Robinson's #42, by team.

It's interesting that former Dodger Jose Lima is on the list for two different teams. Lima time, indeed.

Jason Schmidt wore it? That's a million billion kinds of wrong.

It's really weird to associate "Michael Jackson" with "Minnesota Twins."

Would Michael Jackson be the first player to unbreak the color barrier?

Bills made the All-Jane-Austen Team.

I'm going to the game Saturday. Just got an email from Dodgers alerting me to the starting pitching for that game. I'll get to see the 2-time defending NL Cy Young Award winner versus....Charlie Haeger. This should be, er, interesting?

Anyone else headed to the Yard tomorrow?

Dusty: Which of those two pitchers has 12 strikeouts in one game this season?

Exactly.

OT, but at least this doesn't happen at Dodger Stadium.

@Jason

Wow! That makes Dodgers games seem like sitting in a library.* That Clemmens kid sounds like he's really going to go places in life.

*or at an Arsenal match

@Josh

Healthy perspective, that.

Schmidt? Mo Vaughn?
Thank god the # is retired before other hacks disgrace it.

@DB:
Wait a second. . .

Arsenal fans are just very polite. White Hart Lane seems more like the old Vet in Pilly.

Just trying to get a rise out of ya, RB. Knew a "Highbury Library" comment would draw you out.

Damn you Blue-clad Devil!

rbnlaw beat me to it. Thank goodness It's "Mo" Rivera as the last 42 and not Mo Vaughn.
