Chris Capuano (10-7, 3.33) vs. Drew Pomeranz (1-6, 5.13).
Dusty doesn't want to see any more pictures of cute little bear cubs (I hadn't thought of Dusty as a arctophobe), so instead we bring you a picture of little rocks (which, strangely enough, does work for Dusty though it doesn't work at all with the opponent's team name).
Capuano was once 7-1 for the Dodgers with a 2.14 ERA, but has since gone 3-6 (obviously) and has seen that ERA increase, including losses in four of his last five starts (one of those lasting only a measley 4.1 innings, in St. Louis). Pomeranz has losses in six of his last seven starts (take that, Cap!), but beat the Dodgers in the only game he's ever played against us, earning a ND on May 2. Perhaps with two groove-less pitchers on the mound today, we'll see more Bamm Bamm than tiny Pebbles.
But how else can I PSYche up ol' Dusty prior to this game? Oh, I don't know. Maybe by using...this?
