Im already looking looking forward to next season.
Crawford and a healthy Kemp.
I know the offense was crap, but that damn dropped ball...
Just not our year.
Lyons need to shut the fuck up about crowd energy. The Dodgers have the worst home record since the before the ASB. They are lucky anyone is showing up to see that shit show.
They just need to give out Vin bobbleheads every night.
Exactly, Nic. I sat there the whole game last night and didn't leave until after the last out, and I'd take a damn bullet for this franchise, but if there isn't anything to naturally cheer about for the fans who are there, then, well, there isn't. When the team gets two or three hits a night, not a lot to stand on the chairs about.
But we lost when they did.
I guess it doesn't really bother all that much because a majority of these moves were made with the next few seasons in mind. It would have been nice to win the division but we really had little chance to do much damaged there with the thin pitching staff.
Crowd energy was great last night.
The only thing that really bugs me is we are just handing over a playoff spot to the Giants.
It ain't over, but it sure as hell isn't looking good.
Seems like everyone is just pressing because they were expected to roll into the playoffs.
Giants have been playing even better since they lost Melky. If they win the division, they deserve it.
Wow, Pads are 9-1 in their past 10.
The division is over, the Giants just play too many easy teams (Dodgers included)
A WC spot is still a definite possibility but it is hard to get all pumped for a one and done situation.
Pads and Rox are the two hottest teams in the division.
You'd think putting up 10 runs would be a slumpbuster, but I bet coughing up 7 in an inning freaked them out again.
It's going to be a WSH-BAL World Series anyway.
I just cant figure out why this team gets shut down so easily and often.
I'm pumped!
I won't write off the division unless the Dodgers are further than 6 back before next weekend.
(I sound like Roger Lodge now.)
Maybe this year for the Dodgers is like 2010 was for LeBron.
I'm done with the division. Nic's right, the second WC slot is the best shot at postseason play.
Don't mention LeBron. Josh Macciello might show up.
That 4 gamer with the Cards will be big for the WC.
Macciello is in the running to buy SOSG.
So, are we the 2008 D-Backs, only with billions of dollars and more intense media scrutiny?
Our meaningless success against Pittsburgh is probably the only thing keeping us alive as it is.
Sorry I forgot the "(11)".
So did the Dodgers.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Is that what Lyons said? What a bozo, i was there and surprised at how much the crowd actually got into the game even for the smallest things when they were still losing. The "Cruuuuuz" and standing up for Ethier batting in extra innings, they did the wave while i was being grumpy about the shit i was watching.....
