That chiseled specimen of athletic perfection? We should have known long ago.
That explains my incontinence.
What, defective Colon?
Damn, it's quiet.
Yesterdays game must have been extra traumatic. Glad I missed the suffering and just got the bad news via box score.
Makes me wonder if Freddy Garcia could get nailed too. He and Bart magically resurrected their long-dead careers a couple of years ago. They were on the White Sox together in 2009 and both of them had been sucking for a few years. Garcia somehow got back to mediocre in 2010 while Colon was out of the league. Then in 2011 the Yankees were so were desperate starting pitching, they signed Garcia and exhumed Colon's corpse from a Dominican cemetery. And lo and behold, they had decent seasons and have been useful starting pitchers since. I gotta wonder if there is a connection
@Stubbsy, I have been unenjoying this series from the box scores as well. The angry me tells me to stay away. The superstitious me says that I now need to watch tonight's game
I had to watch the pain from last nifht first hand. Still haven't recovered. My god was Blanton terrible. He had NOTHING. It was eerie to see in real time; you could tell before the ball arrived that the Gnats batter was just teed up to mash it.
Sometimes it looks like that for us too, but it never seems to be at home anymore
