MLB Trade Rumors tells us teams interested in World Series hero Jeff Weaver are the Cardinals, Pirates, Mariners and...Dodgers?
The Mariners or Dodgers could still make a play for Weaver as well. The Dodgers would really be stacked in the rotation, but maybe it would be to complement a trade.

I believe that somehow Boras is trying to stoke the fires that many other teams have the hots for Jeff Weaver. Boras is asking for a 4Yr/$40Mil deal from the Cardinals. My guess is that Weaver holds out a little while, the Cardinals realize they need more starting pitching and he gets a three year deal from them.

Wait a second, are you implying that Scott Boras may be fabricating rumors of mystery teams' involvement, in order to further distort his client's value?
Even in October I thought three years made sense for Weaver. But that was before the market exploded, so he would certainly make more than $20-25 million.
Yeah, but in October, we didn't know what the hell we were doing on this blog.
