I NEED THIS.
Speaking of drinking beer on my sofa, OAK up 4-0 on the Gnats in this first of four game series in OAK. Some comical "defensive" moments for the Hated Ones.
5-0 now.
Giants lose!
(Oakland wins.)
From the SF Comical recap:
The Giants, who didn't get a runner past second, were shut out for the fourth time in eight games, and as the game entered its later stages, they got a little sloppy, too.
Neither team scored until the A's pushed across a run on a John Jaso groundout in the fifth. They'd stranded five runners in the first four innings against Ryan Vogelsong.
Things started to slip away from the Giants in the sixth, when Alberto Callaspo whacked a two-run double, and skidded further away in the seventh when two errors by Brandon Crawford led to two more runs. Since June 9, the Giants are 7-19, tied with Texas for the majors' worst mark in that span.
