It wasn't the greatest of nights at Dodger Stadium, both off and on the field. Those cool Hello Kitty travel mugs? Delayed. Clayton Kershaw's scoreless streak? Broken. As even a blind squirrel finds a nut, Chase Headley hit a solo home run off Kershaw in the sixth to end Kershaw's amazing scoreless streak at 41 innings. Only Orel's 59 and Drysdale's 58 are better in Dodger history.
But Kershaw was otherwise untouchable, allowing only three hits and striking out 11 for a complete game victory made possible with RBIs from SVS and AGon. The Giants lost again, so the Dodgers reclaim their one-game division lead. And if that qualifies as a bad day at Dodger Stadium, we'll take it.

Kershaw was as untouchable as the Hello Kitty mugs
Also, I didn't offend a major American city.
Padres had four errors?! That's worse than even we usually do!
Can't believe we didn't pick up on the obvious Hello Kitty litter pun.
DAMMIT
